London Holds A New Year's Fireworks Show To Celebrate The New Year

The annual London New Year's fireworks show was held as early as 1 am, and more than 100,000 people gathered in the heart of London, England to enjoy this grand fireworks show to welcome the New Year.

London Mayor Sadik Khan said in an interview with Xinhua News Agency before the fireworks show that London hopes to present the most exciting fireworks show to a global audience, show the world an open London, and welcome more companies and talents to come to London.


Sadik Khan sent a New Year greeting to the Chinese people. He believes that the development of London also benefits from China's reform and opening up. The Chinese community in London has also made a lot of efforts.


The London fireworks show began in 2000 and attracts around 100,000 spectators each year.
